We had already had our website for several years when Jim Forsgren first came to us pitching the idea of Findlaw taking over our website management. As far as we were concerned, our existing website was working well and we generally seemed to show well on the primary search engines. So, it is no surprise that we were reluctant to spend what we thought was a large amount of money to increase our exposure when there was no guarantee that we'd get more business. Well, you know, Jim Forsgren, I never liked the whole idea of lawyer advertising but it was you who coaxed me into trying because so many others were doing it. I was surprised, to put it mildly, at the instant and positive response I received once the site was up. My income from the site alone in the first two months paid for two years of the site. What can I say? It couldn't have been better.
I have recently been watching a thread on our national white collar law list serve about web sites, and 8 of 10 postings were strongly recommending FindLaw over any other operation both for price, value and results, results over all. I agreed with them. When I was first approached by Jim Forsgren, our FindLaw Representative, we already had three (3) separate websites, tracking software, and numerous sources forwarding leads to our primary website. However after checking with a few people, we decided to give FindLaw a chance. Our office spends much of our time tracking how individuals come to our office. After FindLaw, we saw an increase in internet leads to our office.
